Ask RowFold & AI tools — Ask about the rows you’ve selected
Tick some rows in the grid and choose Ask about these on the bar that appears. Ask opens with those records attached, shown as a chip you can remove, and words like these and they mean exactly that set. The answer says which set it used — “Across the 12 you selected…” — so nobody mistakes it for an answer about the whole table.
It reads the records you picked rather than surveying the table, and counts and totals across them are exact. Up to 200 go along; select more and it works from the first 200 and says so. It only compares them with the rest of the table when you ask — what makes these different?, are these typical? — and removing the chip takes you back to the whole workspace. A selection never widens what you can see: Ask still reads only the tables and fields open to you.
