Questions about what didn't happen work too: which customers have no orders?, which invoices have no payment?, which products have never been on a purchase order? Ask follows the link backwards from the other table and counts over the whole table, exactly. The wording matters, and Ask keeps the difference. Customers with no open order includes customers who have never ordered at all; customers with an order that isn't open counts only customers who have ordered. And if two different links could answer the question, it says so rather than picking one.
