Importing data — What currency an amount is in (3)

• A column that fills a field you already have never changes that field. If the file’s currency is different from the field’s, each imported amount keeps its own. A picker in the note changes the answer: another currency, or No currency (plain amounts) to import the numbers alone, which is what imports did before. In a longer file the whole column is read when you import, and unless you chose in the note, a different symbol further down means each amount keeps its own currency. The confirmation screen repeats any change the import made to the workspace’s settings, and Settings is where to reverse it.
