• Status only appears when a Select field has been nominated on the widget or the mailbox, or is named Status. An arbitrary Select is not adopted, because a chip showing Priority as though it were status is worse than no chip. • A reply needs somewhere to go: an email address plus a mailbox, or a chat that is still open. With neither, the composer says so rather than quietly saving a message nobody receives. • Merging moves the conversation, never the two records' fields. Whatever was on the ticket you merged away — its number, its values, its clock — stays with it in the Trash rather than landing on the one you kept. • A team with nobody on it is assigned nothing, silently, exactly like an empty roster. The Teams page says so on the team itself.
